We’ll pick you up
Art of Angling guides is a full service outfitter as such your guide will pick you up from your Whistler hotel. Guests staying in Pemberton or Squamish are also welcome and pick up arrangements can be discussed by phone or email.
Where we fish
Our mission is to choose the best location that will meet your needs. With a guiding tenure ranging from Squamish to Whistler to Pemberton and beyond, Art of Angling Guides has ample lakes and rivers to choose from for all four seasons of angling adventure.
Some available lakes and rivers involve moderate walking and this can be discussed with the guide.
Rivers are fished by walk and wade. Lakes may use float tube, shoreline or wading. Your guide will help ensure the trip meets your needs.
What to bring
Guests should bring socks, water, snacks or lunch and appropriate layered clothing for the weather such as rain/wind breaker if there is a potential of rain in the forecast. Guest are reminded to obtain a Provincial fishing license available here. Please ensure your trip time and date has been confirmed before obtaining one.
We’ll instruct, guide and inform you
As a guest of Art of Angling Guides you will be well taken care of. Whether you are a beginner or experienced angler you’ll be instructed on fishing principles necessary to angle for the intended species. The health and safety of the fish is paramount and as such only single and barbless hooks will be used. Guests are instructed, or reminded, on the importance and method of handling fish humanely to maximize the survival of the fish caught.
What Art of Angling Guides we’ll bring for you
Quality fishing equipment including rods, flies, lures, waders, and float tubes are supplied as necessary. Art of Angling Guides primarily uses Orvis, Redington and Outcast boats.
